Do you know what coders earn?
From what I can find, starting coders earn about $70k per year.
That’s not bad for starter job.
On the high end, the jobs seem to pay $120k or more.
This is nothing to say of what you could earn if you created an app or software that became a best seller.
If you don’t know, code is the language programmers use to write computer programs, apps, websites, and software.
I don’t need to tell you that the demand is high and the need for great coders is not going away anytime soon.
I remember learning BASIC on my Commodore 64 when I was a kid.

I spent hours writing a program that had you guess a number between 1 and 100 and told you if you were too high or low.
It was really boring.
If you look around, there are all types of schools, bootcamps, and companies selling coding training.
The prices are all over the place and not everyone can leave their life for a few months and spend a small fortune to go learn code.
The internet can save the day.
Now before some of you start screaming obscenities at me, I realize that quality schools exist and teach coders at a high level.
I also feel that the information to learn code is available to people who will take charge and learn on their own time, maybe while raising a family and trying to keep a full time job or two.
If you think these skills would benefit you but feel intimidated by the cost, then google search for free coding classes.
Themuse.com, entrepreneur.com, and codeacademy.com have free beginner classes.
Try these out and see if you enjoy it or have a knack for it.
Maybe you will love it or hate it and find out everything you need to know without investing anything but your time.
You really have nothing to lose here.
More intermediate courses are probably going to start costing you, but you can buy them one by one on your own time and budget.
It doesn’t need to be a full time commitment unless you want it to be.

Before you know it, you will be a practiced and skilled coder.
You might be able to get a raise at your current job or get a better job.
My personal favorite idea is that you start your own company and/or create your own software or app that just dominates an industry or some new niche.
If you do, take me to dinner at Ruth’s Chris for writing this and giving you the idea.
Mastering skills that are highly valuable in the economy is what gets people paid.
If you want to make more money and advance and be more successful, get better at valuable skills.
It has never been a better time to do it and may never be this good again.
Get started.

I don’t know how to write code, but using the same program below, I was able to generate an income online working part time and quit my full time blue-collar service job.
