Do not confuse this site with America Online. (Which does still exist)
American Online Jobs is a site that appears to be offering jobs that you can do on your computer.
This is only true in the sense that it is promoting something on your computer.
Nobody is hiring anyone here.
They ask some questions to make it seem like they are trying to figure out what your skills and interests are, but in the end, the result is the same.
You get sent to register for a survey site and also to a site called Online Flex Jobs that is also not hiring.
So, I had to ask myself what are they trying to do and is it a scam?
This is basically an affiliate for survey sites.
They get a small commission for every survey site and trial offer that you sign up for.
If you go through the process, you will see that you keep getting survey offers and they want you to sign up for free trials that ask for your credit card.

I have reviewed online surveys as a money-making opportunity on this site.
Some of them do pay, however, it is typically at best $1-$2 per hour and not going to make you rich at home.
Also, surveys are not jobs and the way they are getting you to that point is deceptive.
The other site they send you to is Online Flex Jobs and that does have some training on there.
The training is not great and last time I looked at it, wasn’t even complete.
They teach how to set up a website that basically points people to survey sites and as they sign up for surveys and trial offers, you can get a small commission.
This is true and could work.
However, you still need to figure out how to get people (traffic) to your website and that typically means running ads.

This is fine, but surveys pay so little per person that signs up, that after your advertising costs, you might not even break even.
You either need to figure out how to get free traffic or find an offer that has better margins if you want to make real money online.
Even though I really don’t like how they are misleading people by saying they have jobs, when really they are selling an affiliate program and pushing you into free trials and surveys, technically they are offering you some knowledge that could help you make money online.
I don’t believe it’s a full-on scam, but I don’t recommend this product.
It’s a bigger headache than it delivers on value.
There are at least 6 other affiliate marketing training programs I would recommend before this one.
Do not get fooled into going through the process thinking someone is sending you an offer letter at the end for a job online.
If you want to make real money online, you need to learn certain skills.
These will take time and some investment, but the payoff is much more.
I have made thousands of dollars online by learning these same skills and freeing me from my old full-time job as a blue-collar repairman.
Now, I continue to make money 24/7 (over $4,000 some days) because the internet runs my business while I sleep, eat, work, and vacation.
My #1 recommendation to make money online is the same training I used to create an income from my laptop with no previous internet skills.
