This post explains a simple digital sales strategy that high level marketers are using right now to generate millions of dollars per year.

Getting Started
I am going to show you how this works in reverse so you better understand each step.
To get started, you need to figure out one of these 2 options:
- What you want to sell or
2. Who you want to sell to
Pick whichever one feels easier.
I personally think that it is much easier to find a product that fixes a problem, because these already exist.
Digital and physical products that fix problems,
and that you can sell are available on these websites:
There are hundreds more, but these are great places to get started and are free to sign up.
Ideally, the product will sell for about $100-$200.
Now, if you know the product you want to sell,
Get clear on who is the person most likely to buy it.
You want to narrow this down to the most specific person possible.
Here’s why:
If you try to sell something to “everyone”, it will sound like you are too general and vague.
Therefore, you will not be convincing and you will sell to almost no one.
However, if you are talking to a specific person,
Other people will relate themselves to that person or their problems and they will engage and are more likely to buy.
Trust the experts on this.
They are all saying what I’m telling you here.
Get clear on your prospect
Get clear on this person’s:
Age
Gender
Lifestyle
Music
Cars
TV shows
Social Media – This is potentially the most important
Relationship Status
Books
Podcasts
Political leanings, etc.
Anything you can get dialed in on about this ideal prospect is going to be helpful for you.
Sell the Product
Now, to sell the product, you want to send your prospects to an automated webinar or video that sells it for you.
In order to get them to the webinar, the webinar needs to be giving away great information that will help your prospect with their problem.
They should feel like they learned something and had a great experience even if they don’t buy anything.
This will entice them to watch even though they will likely know the webinar will be selling something at the end.
The webinar also needs to be explaining the benefits of your product so that your prospects will be likely to buy the product at the end
because they see how it solves their problem or problems.
Many of the websites I listed above have webinars and videos set up to sell their products already with nothing more to do by you.
Get People to the Webinar
Now, you need a way to get people to the webinar.
You can have a webinar registration page that requires them to sign up for a time that works when they can participate.
But you need some kind of webpage or mechanism that tells your prospects about the webinar and why they should sign up to watch it.
The best mechanism to do that is a free PDF download, guide, or ebook.
This is something that has information your ideal prospect wants to know or learn.
Give this PDF away free in exchange for their email address.
Send the PDF to their email, but now you can send them emails that continue to push them to watch the webinar.
You can also continue to market other products to your prospects that are in the same niche and they are likely to want to buy.
Now, this part of the process is the most important.
When someone gives you their email address in exchange for the PDF, they are putting trust in you and making a micro commitment.
Make sure the PDF has some great new information.
The micro commitment is important for a psychological reason.
In Robert Cialdini’s book Influence, he explains that people do not like to be or appear inconsistent.
So, when someone makes a micro commitment, that person is likely to make a bigger commitment later to stay consistent with the previous decision.
As you move your prospect from the free PDF, to the webinar
and then, ultimately, to purchase, they will be dealing with a strong psychological pull to be consistent with their previous choices.
Get people to the PDF
The next task is figuring out how to get people to see your free PDF offer.
You have a few options here.
Run paid ads.
This is the most predictable way to get your PDF in front of the people you want.
You can run ads on Google, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest and a bunch of other places.
It comes in handy to know who your ideal prospect is.
Run the ads on the websites or apps where they hang out.
Spend some time learning how to target those exact people.
Consider organic reach using social media, blogging, youtube, or pinterest.
Either way, you are going to spend some time and money getting this part dialed in.
However, after this is all set up, the whole thing runs basically on autopilot.
Simple right?
Now if this was confusing, let me break it down from the user perspective.
Let’s say I have shown an interest in the keto diet or lifestyle.
I am scrolling on facebook and see a post giving away free keto dessert recipes.
The post has a picture of a delicious looking piece of cheesecake and I want the recipe so I click on the ad.
It asks for my email to send me the recipes and so I enter that in and check my email.
The email delivers the PDF with the recipes.
Also in the email and the PDF are hyperlinks sending me to some kind of keto workshop, training, or video.
I will likely go watch that training or video and if the product they are selling is what I want and looks like a good value to me, I will buy the product.
If I don’t go watch the video the first day, I will get emails for about a week or 2 telling me how good the training video is and that I should go sign up and watch it.
After that week or 2 goes by, maybe the person that’s been sending me emails, sends me some keto tips, hacks, and free resources for a week so that I keep opening and reading the emails.
The next week I am given another offer to go check out a different video or training for free.
This can continue on forever and I will buy the products that look like they will be the most useful to me.
This strategy works incredibly well when it is done correctly.
