This is a review of the marketing powerhouse that is Pinterest and how underrated the platform is.
Before I get to that, if you are looking for a full online marketing training program for beginners or you are an experienced marketer that hasn’t been able to get your business off the ground, then see my #1 Recommendation to make money online.

I was a frustrated blue collar service worker working over 60 hours every single week before I found my #1 Recommendation.
Once, I learned the skills needed to make money online, I was able to quit that job in a few months and work part-time from home with just my laptop and an internet connection.
Now, let’s get back to Pinterest.
If you are thinking, “OK Pinterest is just crafts for women, and that’s not really my market”, stick with me here because you are going to love what I’m about to share.
First of all, 250 million people visit Pinterest every single month.
That’s a massive market to shrug off.
Also, 83 percent of US women aged 25-54 were somehow reached by Pinterest either by searching there themselves or through Google Images.
If you add to the fact, that 80 percent of US household income is controlled by women, then perhaps Pinterest is worth your attention.
Also, 50 percent of new Pinterest sign ups in 2018 were men.
Now, if that doesn’t convince you that you need to be on Pinterest, this next line of reasoning will change your mind.
Why are people going on Pinterest?
It’s not like Facebook or Instagram.
They are looking for a solution to a problem.
They may just be looking for nice outfit, or way to decorate the house for Halloween.
Many of them are looking for DIY kits or programs (men and women), or workout ideas.
They are looking for specific products to solve whatever problem or task they are working on.
Is this making sense?
If you understand what I’m saying here, then this is very powerful.
It’s basically just a giant bulletin board or store window.
It is free to setup an account and you can post for free.
So, how can you use it to make money?
Well, if you go to Pinterest.com , you will see what are called “pins”.
They are typically a rectangle shape with a picture and some writing pertaining to whatever the interest is.
If you type a topic in the search bar, the most popular pins for that topic will appear and you can click on the one that resonates most with you.
This will then have a description and most likely point you to a website.
The websites are typically blogs with a post about what you clicked on and then possibly some kind of offer asking you to buy a product.

It could be a sales page or anything really.
So, let’s make this super simple right now.
You could literally start making money with Pinterest in the next 10 minutes if you follow instructions I’m about to give you.
Find a product to sell that you like.
Search Google for “affiliate offers in _____________”
It could be golf, fishing, make money online, weight loss, or anything you are interested in.
Find an offer that you like or maybe promote a program you personally have used before.
Get the “affiliate link” from them for you specifically that ties the commission to you.
Next, go to Canva.com or use printshop or something that you can make a graphic on.
I use Canva and most of the graphics and backgrounds are free.
Look for the option to make a Pinterest graphic.
You can use their templates and change the words or however you want to do it.
The trick is to use pictures, writing, and fonts that make it appealing.
You can look around Pinterest to see what good pins look like.
The most popular ones are always ranked at the top of the page.
Finish making the graphic and save it.
Now go to Pinterest.com and click the “Create Pin” button on the left side.
Upload the graphic you just created.
Then, write a description for your offer and post the link you got in the website section.
It’s literally that simple.
If you want to build a big business this way, you will obviously want to get better at making pins and have a website.
However, I just wanted to show that it really doesn’t take much to get started.
Before I got started marketing on the internet, I believed that things were probably harder than they really were.
I want to dispel that myth for you here.
If the first one doesn’t work, try something else until you get better and it does.
Thank you for reading.
