Many affiliate marketers promote Wealthy Affiliate as the best program to learn how to make money online.
What is Wealthy Affiliate and why is everyone so crazy about it?
I’m going to review it here and tell you why it IS NOT the best affiliate marketing training available.
First, if you are tired of make money online scams and programs that are not worth your time and/or money, then see my #1 Recommendation to Make Money Online.

It is the same program I and many others have used to create an income online.
In a few short months, I was able to quit my full-time job with the income I was earning online working part-time from my laptop with no previous “tech skills”.
Wealthy Affiliate is a program and training course that teaches affiliate marketing.
Quick Definition of Affiliate Marketing:
You connect products and services to buyers online through advertising of some sort and get a commission from the company selling the service.
It’s great for people trying to learn how to make money online because the concepts are simple and easy to understand.
Also, it’s great for people who don’t have their own products or services to sell and maybe are still trying to find a niche.
It’s not a get rich quick method and becoming an expert takes time, work, and patience.
Wealthy Affiliate has been teaching people how to do affiliate marketing since 2005 and has thousands of members and customers.
What I like about Wealthy Affiliate:
First, there is some free training to help you decide if this is even something for you.
If you have no disposable income, you should look elsewhere as it does take some money to have the right tools to run a website and advertise.
Second, for the paid portion, there is some free added hosting and training on getting everything set up.
The site also helps you get clear on what niche and offers would be a good fit for you to promote.
Third, there is great customer support and a community that newbies can access in order to get help and advice.
The link below has an introductory $19/month trial membership that goes up to $49/month after the first month.

Now, here’s what I don’t like about Wealthy Affiliate:
First, you are paying that monthly subscription forever in order to keep your website hosting running.
If you default on the payment, everything goes down and you completely lose your sales funnel.
I personally recommend keeping training and website hosting separate.
Also, the monthly fees add up after a while and if Wealthy Affiliate ever went out of business, then all your work is gone.
Conversely, they could raise their prices and you would be forced to pay if you wanted to keep your site up and running.
Second, they have their own site development software, so you aren’t learning how to set up a website normally outside of their program.
This just means that you would have to learn it all over again on WordPress or a different platform if you ever decided to have a site outside of Wealthy Affiliate.
Third, there is huge competition if you decide to promote the wealthy affiliate program as there are thousands of people promoting the same offer.
Fourth, the training is dated and not in depth on paid ads.
The internet marketing world changes quickly and you want to be getting the very latest information available.
I don’t believe that Wealthy Affiliate is delivering well that way.
All said, Wealthy Affiliate is definitely not a scam and there is some absolutely free training if you go to their website and open a free account.
I believe it’s a good program for beginners even though I have seen it overhyped and touted as the best make money online program available.
It is definitely NOT that.
Thank you for reading.
